| Practice Description: |
I am delighted you have found my website and welcome you with open arms.
My name is Michele Horn and I am the founder of Meaningful Therapies. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family and Therapist (LMFT) in Texas and New York with eleven years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages. In addition to traditional therapy services; I now offer life- coaching services (personal, parent, and teen).
One of the things that's unique about my practice is that I travel to you. I do family therapy, couples therapy, and individual therapy at a location of your choice I meet clients at their homes, workplaces and places of recreation. I will travel to Frisco, Plano, North Dallas, Uptown, North Dallas, Highland Park, University Park, and Oaklawn areas of the metroplex. Phone and Skype sessions are also a part of my practice.
There are many possible reasons why you may not be able, or would prefer not, to travel to a practitioners office. Whatever your reason, I will provide you with the same professional service that you would expect in a therapy office - but with the added comfort, convenience and serenity of meeting in your natural surroundings.
My clients include busy people who would prefer not to drive to an office, stay-at-home caregivers, older adults, teens, families, people who are homebound, and others who enjoy the benefits of having their therapist travel to them.
So you are thinking about starting therapy or counseling...
If you have found your way to my site, you are likely struggling with a personal or relationship struggle. Maybe you want to begin listening to your inner voice in a much more significant way. If you are like most people, you want something to be different in your life than you currently experience.
The question is: what do you do now?
Just by visiting this website taken the first step toward a better understanding of your life and your relationships. My wish is that today is the day you start looking to the future filled with hope! It's time to find your voice, and start living to your life's potential. You deserve to find your happiness and an inner peace for yourself, relationship, and your family. I want to give you hope for whatever problem or situation in your life that might be causing you to struggle. I would be honored to collaborate with you in order to help you achieve your dreams and all that your heart desires.
Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Many people share the concern that if they seek out counseling, they must be "crazy” or “flawed.” It does not mean that at all. It means that you are having worries, concerns, feelings or challenges that might be leaving you confused or overwhelmed. It is a positive sign to want more from your life, your relationships and for your family and to seek relief and understanding. It takes a lot of courage to begin therapy. I celebrate who make the decision to better their lives. I sincerely believe that almost all emotional struggles and psychological conditions can be overcome or significantly made better. I want to offer you hope. You can have a better life. You can have a better relationship. You can achieve your dreams.
I offer research-based therapy for individuals, couples, and families in distress. I provide results oriented life coaching services (personal, parent, teen).
I will help you discover the tools needed to meet life's challenges.
I focus on empowering you to reach your goals by using strengths you already possess.
