| Practice Description: |
I am a licensed psychotherapist with 30 years experience. I work with adults and adolescents, individuals and couples, and strive to create a supportive, collaborative environment where your difficulties can be explored and understood. I believe that past experiences and traumas can interfere with present functioning and well being, especially in such areas as relationships, self esteem, and employment.
By working this through we can enable you to feel better and move past barriers that have held you back. I have worked successfully with clients from many backgrounds, working on such issues as depression, anxiety, loss, stress, gay/lesbian concerns, work, and relationships. My primary approach is psychodynamic, but I also include other approaches as relevant to your situation, such as solution-focused.
I have completed advanced training programs in adult and child-adolescent psychotherapy in Boston.
