Though you desire to make a change, you may be skeptical about the idea of counseling. You may also feel that finding a therapist who listens without judgment and who balances honest feedback with encouragement, is both a confusing and difficult task. I have a caring and compassionate style where the individual is treated with respect and empathy. I have 13 years of experience working with clients with issues of depression and anxiety, gay and lesbian issues, chemical dependency, self-esteem, guilt and shame, and issues of a religious or spiritual nature.
I view the therapeutic relationship as a vital part of the change process. I am currently on both Blue Cross Blue Shield Anthem and Cigna insurance panels in the state of Missouri. If you have any other insurance provider, you will need to find out what the “out of network” benefits are for mental health with your insurance provider. I can provide you with a receipt for the session so you can submit this to your insurance company for reimbursement. |
