| Practice Description: |
If you are in a place wherein you have tried everything to feel better, and you feel "stuck", I can help. If you are frustrated in your relationships with your partner, children, family members, we can talk about it. My approach is culturally sensitive and interactive with clients. I want to be able to work with you as a tool to your goals, trusting that by the time you come into my office, you are ready for some change, though you may be a bit scared. Together, we can explore ways that you can live by, day by day, and look into the future. In private practice, I have worked with young adults, older adults, couples, and families. In most cases, clients have found that their issues are resolved with short-term, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused treatment, but I typically integrate treatment interventions in sessions depending on client needs. We will take our time regardless of how long or short the process, in order to assist you in feeling better about your situation. Multiculturalism denotes more than just ethnicity. It considers every aspect of our being and who we are, and how we function, so it is an integral part of my treatment services.
