Many therapy models seek to solve problems and relieve symptoms simply by directing people to change their thinking. Foundationally, I believe therapy that seeks only to address and relieve symptoms falls short of creating significant and lasting change. While circumstances do exist where brief symptom relief is critical, I will always be looking to move beyond symptom relief toward lasting character change and meaningful relationships. I believe we are all created for satisfying and self–giving relationships and many problems that bring people into therapy are related to matters concerning our most significant relationships, both current and historically.

My standard rate for therapy is $110 per 50 minute session. I offer a sliding scale and a student rate of $85 |

I am currently a contracted provider with Regence Blue Shield. Many insurance companies, such as Premera and Group Health, offer excellent out-of-network benefits. I always recommend checking with your insurance provider to see what level of benefits you have before starting therapy. |
