| Practice Description: |
Everyone has the ability to flourish in their lives. I believe that therapy is a way to reconnect with one's abundance and life purpose in a meaningful way when those connections feel tenuous or lost. To this end I offer my clients a therapeutic approach that integrates depth psychology, Buddhist psychology, somatic awareness and expressive arts therapy. With care, skill, playfulness and heartfelt attention I work with you to break negative thought loops and unhealthy emotional patterns so that you can open up to fresh information about yourself, the world and your options for relating to both.
My specialties include working with codependency, grief, trauma, intimacy issues, depression, anxiety, career transitions and spiritual development. I invite my clients to incorporate dreams, drawing, writing, and meditation into their work with me. I also have a background as an astrologer, an authentic movement practitioner, and am trained in Reiki.
I am deeply committed to creating a safe and compassionate therapeutic environment where my clients can experience psychological and spiritual healing at their chosen pace. I welcome working with adults, couples and the LGBT community.
