I would like to share with you information about my psychotherapy practice and my professional website: www.elenamakarova.com. I am currently accepting new patients.
After a decade of involvement and training in psychodynamic therapy and many years of clinical practice in the Bay Area, I have gained expertise in addressing a range of emotional and relational concerns, using one of the most effective methods of psychotherapy. Among other things, it has shown to be effective for:
• Everyday stress of work, home, and life's occurrences
• Relationship difficulties
• Sleep, eating and sexual disturbance
• Chronic anxiety and worry
• Depression and tension
• Emotional extremes
• Preventing the past from interfering with the present

My background is in counseling psychology. I hold BA in Counseling Psychology (from Moscow State University, Department of Psychology) and MA in Counseling Psychology (from California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco).
