I believe that choosing a psychologist is a decision that should be made based on a combination of the psychologist's level of expertise and your own personal comfort with the psychologist. Both factors are extremely important, in my view, and each can independently account for your satisfaction with psychological services. One benefit to my practice is that I am an independent practitioner and am located in an inconspicuous building, which increases privacy and confidentiality. When you arrive, you will be seen on time and by myself only.
I provide a variety of services in my practice, all for which I have received several years of training and education. In my practice, you will be treated individually, keeping in mind your unique life circumstances, characteristics, and preferences, while providing treatment in ways that are supported by the most current research and directed toward your specific goals. It is my hope that you will attain wellness through both a reduction in your presenting symptoms, the removal of the problem's root cause, and/or replacing the problem with a more adaptive approach to life.
