My style is relational and humanistic and my goal is to help each client tap into and achieve his/her true potential. This involves helping clients gain clarity about what is truly desired and helping to identify and modify problematic patterns and themes that stand in the way of increased self, life and relationship satisfaction. Growth, change and helping clients move toward their own vision of peace, fulfillment and happiness is always the goal. I take a holistic approach to psychological wellness and honor the client's work life, family traditions, sexual orientation, and cultural & spiritual beliefs.
I specialize in psychotherapy with adult individuals and couples with a wide range of issues including: relationship issues, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, body image, women's issues, men's issues, lesbian/gay/bisexual and transgender issues, life transitions, family dysfunction, and helping clients identify and modify problematic life patterns.

|Insurance and Billing Instructions:
||I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. If you have a different insurance carrier, I will be considered an "out of network provider" and I can provide clients with a receipt for services for reimbursement through their insurance company. Typically insurance plans will reimburse a portion of the cost, and each client should check with his/her insurance company to find out if reimbursement is possible with this method.
Paying “out of pocket” can be costlier than using your insurance to reimburse psychotherapy. However, doing so does provide you certain advantages:
(1) You and your therapist decide on the length of treatment. No third party will set limits on the length of time you may continue therapy.
(2) Your personal information is not shared with your insurance company and is not transmitted over the Internet.
(3) Your therapist’s attention will be devoted to understanding you and helping you work through your problems. There will be no distraction by submitting (and often resubmitting) claim forms to your insurance company or negotiating to authorize additional sessions.
