| Practice Description: |
Are you struggling with family issues, symptoms of anxiety or depression, or a major life change? My philosophy for therapy includes an individualized approach based on your unique strengths, needs and goals. My approach is holistic, integrating symptom reduction, physical health, relationships, and spiritual growth. My past clinical experience includes working with adults at the Hume Center, a community mental health clinic, and with children and teens at Kaiser Permanente, Bayside Elementary Schools and STARS, a therapeutic summer day camp. I specialize in working with adults, teens, and parents. My clinical areas of focus include depression, anxiety, family and parenting issues, cultural differences and acculturation, surviving trauma, and living with chronic psychological challenges such as Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. I look forward to meeting with you and getting to know you personally. I believe that growth and change are processes that benefit from a strong connection between client and therapist. I would be honored to help guide you through your own process of personal growth. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment.
