My fees are $140 per clinical hour (45-50 min.) for all services. |
| Insurance and Billing Instructions: |
You may pay me by cash or check to be paid at the time of the session. Although I can give you a receipt for you to send in to your insurance company I do not deal with insurance companies directly. Most insurance companies do not cover marriage counseling. When insurance is used for counseling the treatment has to be considered a "medical necessity." This means you must be given a psychiatric diagnosis which follows you throughout life. Once you have begun counseling, your sessions must be justified for insurance to continue to pay for your sessions. Your confidentiality is also at risk when using insurance. Many people who come to me are not mentally ill and should not have a diagnosis. They are simply struggling with relationship issues. |
