| Practice Description: |
Do you feel like you have spent the majority of your life at war with your body? Do you eat as a way to numb out or avoid feeling other emotions like anger, sadness, hurt, loneliness and fear? When you look in the mirror do you feel dissatisfied with how you look? Have you tried every new fad diet, exercise methods and even gone to unhealthy extremes to lose weight only to find that you still don't like your body? Have you ever been suspected, been told or treated for an eating disorder? Do your body image issues make you feel sad, alone, nervous, lower your self-esteem and contribute to other problems in your life? Is food your best friend and your worst enemy?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you need to keep reading. You are not alone! I am here to help you make peace with your body. You CAN break free from negative patterns and have a sound relationship with both food and your body.
Some other reasons clients come to see me are to overcome feelings of depression, anxiety, resolve relationship issues (be it heterosexual or gay/lesbian/bisexual) and heal from feelings of grief. I provide a warm and caring environment to aid my clients in resolving these issues and achieving lasting change in their lives.
Life is too short to continue struggling with these issues. Let me help to empower you to change your life!
