I am a specialist in anxiety disorders and chronic illness. I incorporate a humanistic orientation that allows for a collaborative psychotherapeutic style unique to my client's needs. The treatment plan is based upon a comprehensive assessment tool I have developed to accurately diagnose anxiety disorders and make differential diagnoses, because all anxiety is not the same. My approach is to provide tools that are cognitive , behavioral and symptom- focused so that recovery is managed in a short period of time. When indicated ,I incorporate hypnosis to augment the cognitive interventions.
My book, Panic Free, has received much recognition from the mental health community and has been endorsed by the Anxiety Disorders Association of America. My expertise extends to
chronic Illness and pain management. I approach the issues attending chronic disease from a humanistic perspective within a cognitive model to ease the depression , anxiety and other issues attending limitations. I assist with educating family members to better understand how to live with a spouse, child or parent who is ill. I also work with the individuals and family members of a parent or partner with dementia.

| Insurance and Billing Instructions: |
Each plan and company has a different copayment and deductible. Some may require pre-authorizations or exclude pre-existing conditions. Some may also waive the deductible if you have been diagnosed with certain more serious disorders such as Panic Disorder, OCD or major depression. Once you have obtained information about your plan , we can discuss how I can collect your copayment and bill them directly for you. |
