| Practice Description: |
Unhappy with your job or career? Experiencing some change in your life? Feeling stuck in your life and have no idea what to do? Do you say to yourself about life, "Is this it?...Is that all there is?" I asked myself those questions at one time and enjoy helping others explore answers to them.
A former human resources manager I specialize in employment related issues. I regularly help people who are having problems in the workplace, are unhappy or bored in their jobs, have lost their jobs, or are contemplating a job or career change in the future. I also especially enjoy working with people who are grappling with mid-life issues such as career dissatisfaction, body and health challenges, empty nest issues, and relationship changes. Most of these issues involve the change and grieving processes requiring being listened to, encouragement, support and help identifying options. I am honored to help people through these processes.
I also facilitate the following groups: Mid-Life – Crisis or Opportunity? Career Transition – What Does it Take? Coping with Job Loss Support for Divorced Men.
Education and Clinical Experience: I have a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Marquette University. I performed my internship at The Counseling Center of Milwaukee and obtained clinical licensure experience at Rogers Memorial Hospital where I continue to work on a limited basis. I bring twenty years of experience working as a human resources manager before making a midlife career change.
