I see therapy as an empowering opportunity for self-development, that provides you with a safe place to openly express and explore your thoughts and feelings. I am committed to working with people to help them find deeper meaning and fulfillment in their lives. My greatest strengths are working with individuals (pre-teen, teens and adults) who are struggling with low self esteem, depression, suicidal ideations, relationship conflict, communication issues, and trauma. I also have extensive experience in working with children and adolescents with ADHD and Aspberger's, as well as adults with PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder.
I have completed the Basic Training in EMDR, which enables me to effectively help people work through traumatic events that have happened in their lives. I am working on becoming certified in EMDR and I am offering a discounted rate to those interested in this type of therapy. I also have training in Interpersonal Psychotherapy which helps to improve one's interpersonal relationships and assist in building a stronger support system.
I understand how hard it can be to reach out for help and face the challenges of life, but through my experiences I have seen healing and change happen firsthand. I look forward to helping you make that happen in your life.
