I consider the counseling relationship to be a partnership in which an individual seeks help and understanding of the stressors that are affecting their life. Since this relationship is based upon trust and mutual respect, it is important that the client build a relationship with a professional who best meets those needs. It is my hope that with therapy the client can employ better methods to cope and deal with the stressors in their life.
My focus is working with adults who are coping with depression, anxiety, and stress. And adults who may have life transitions or relationship issues they would like to work through. I also work with adolescents and adults who are dealing with self-esteem and/or eating disorders.
