| Practice Description: |
With over 15 years of experience working with adults, children, and families, I am committed to partnering with you to help you re-discover your inner strengths and abilities and find solutions to the challenges you are facing. My style is warm and caring and I utilize a strengths-based approach to help you create change in your life. Some of my areas of expertise include: women's issues, parenting challenges, child therapy, anxiety and depression.
In addition to therapy sessions in my office, I offer two services which make my practice unique:
1) Walk & Talk Therapy - For individual sessions, you have the option of meeting in the traditional office setting or choosing a Walk & Talk Therapy session. The simple act of walking while talking out life's challenges can open up an environment for change and renewal. Sessions are typically held at a park or at walking paths near your home or work.
2) In-Home Sessions - For children and family sessions, I offer the option of meeting in your home. There are many advantages to in-home counseling. Families can work out communication problems in the environment where they feel most comfortable. Young children especially benefit from learning new skills in a place where they feel relaxed.
Questions? Please call me for a complimentary consultation. I look forward to talking with you.
