My approach to counseling is based on your needs and concerns. I see the purpose of counseling as a process of empowering individuals, couples, adolescents, and families to grow and nurture various aspects of their lives.

I am dedicated to helping people discover their potential as human beings through the integration of mind, body & spirit. My diverse background gives me the experience of working with people of diverse backgrounds. I am caring and empathetic in my therapeutic approach.

My philosophy and therapeutic orientation are an eclectic integration of a variety of counseling theories: Client Centered, Humanistic-Existential, Cognitive-Behavioral, Psycho-dynamic, Narrative, Solutions Focused. These methods, as well as others are used as the basis for counseling to promote and encourage growth through increased self-awareness, enhanced relationships, expression of feelings, purposeful living, effective communication, conflict resolution and spiritual growth. I have over 25 years of experience as a counselor and
administrator with various hospitals, non-profit organizations and agencies.
