Therapy is like life - it's a journey. Sometimes the path feels smooth and clear. Other times, it's rough and bumpy. My purpose with Backdoor Counseling is to offer a chance to improve life's journey.
Backdoor Counseling utilizes a foundation of traditional therapy approaches along with art and play to provide a well-rounded therapy experience.
I have worked with children and families for five years to help them improve their quality of life. I have seen them learn how to get along better, resolve conflicts better, and deepen their overall relationships with their family members. I have seen children and adults become empowered to embrace who they are as individuals while improving their daily life.
In addition to marriage and family therapy, I have training in art and play therapy. I blend these approaches creatively as I seek to help children and families reach their personal, and emotional goals.
