| Practice Description: |
I believe that clients come to therapy out of health not out of illness. It is important for each client to be involved with their treatment planning. I believe that as a therapist I provide guidance and information to my clients, but that the answers to life struggles lie within each individual. I also believe that although therapy can sometimes be painful it can also be fun.
I believe in, and support, the basic dignity of all my clients.
Although I use techniques from many theoretical frameworks, my theoretical orientation is based in Strategic Family Systems and Cognitive Therapies such as Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization.
I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples families and corporations as both a clinician and as an instructor.
On a personal note, I am married and have a son serving in the military. I have two dogs , enjoy travel and stimulating conversation!
