| Practice Description: |
Reality Therapy Model is but one of the approaches to psychotherapy in my practice. In an age where insurance companies dictate the number of counseling sessions, this approach affords a practical approach to change. Behavior Modification is used as well and clients learn specific tools that they can use ‘in the real world’ and are quickly empowered by the effectiveness and usefulness of these tools. One of the areas that I like to specialize is the Bereavement aspect of life changing moments. One does not have to experience the death of someone to feel a great loss. The loss of a job, relationship, home, etc. can bring intense feelings of grief. Learning through the psychotherapy process how these changes are affecting us allows the client to grieve on their own terms. Real Life- Real Results

Aracely Palomares-Neeley, LCSW is a Texas licensed clinical social worker, with over 15 years of direct client experience. Pre and Post Graduate work over the years includes working in the corporate sector, hospital/hospice setting and working in a government agency, as well as with a nonprofit agency.
During her tenure at Children's Protective Services she achieved recognition as an Expert Witness in child abuse cases as a Lead Investigator.
It was the desire to know more about the clinical aspect of working with clients that drove the need for further education. A graduate degree was obtained from the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work where Ms. Neeley, was one of approximately five Hispanic students to earn a Master of Social Work degree in her graduating class. Her training was geared towards working with families and children. Her scope of experience has expanded to working with all individuals from teenagers to the geriatric.
