| Practice Description: |
I provide counseling and therapy for individual adults, couples, children, adolescents and families.
Therapy involves getting to know ourselves better – our beliefs, our feelings and reactions, our relationships, and the patterns we live by. I work with people who want to understand themselves better and make more positive life decisions. Many of my clients find themselves continually falling into negative patterns with friends, family, partners, and career choices. Others struggle with confidence, self-worth, and an incessant inner critic. My work with couples and families focuses on finding alternatives to negative patterns of interaction, and increasing effective communication. I believe that through therapy we can become more open and accepting of ourselves and our past experiences, however painful. We can learn to live freer, happier, and more satisfying lives.
My website provides more information on my specific approaches to adult, couples, child/adolescent, and family therapy. If you have additional questions or simply want to talk about my therapeutic approach, please call or email to set up an introductory meeting.

| Insurance and Billing Instructions: |
I do not bill any insurance companies directly for mental health services. Some insurance companies may reimburse you directly for some or all of “out-of-network care”. However, I cannot guarantee that your specific insurance plan will cover our sessions. If you are interested in this option, I recommend that you consult your insurance benefits packet, and call your insurance company to verify whether this is a possibility. You may like to ask:
- Do I have mental health benefits? - How much is my deductible? - How many mental health sessions per year does my plan cover? - How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network LSWA-IC (Licensed Social Work Associate – Independent Clinical) in Washington State? |
