I have a great deal of passion as well as many years of experience for helping people with anxiety- and related disorders. I am board certified in the cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety disorders and have written five books in the field, considered highly helpful to both clients and therapists. Potential clients are suffering individuals in pain who are wanting things to change and ready to try out new behaviors and new ways of thinking.
The anxiety disorders I work primarily -but not exclusively- on are: Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Specific Phobia, Social Anxiety Disorder (Social Phobia), Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Trichotillomania, Skin Picking (Dermatillomania).
I provide services at the Anxiety & Panic Treatment Center in Portland and in my private practice in Vancouver.
