I pride myself on creating a warm, supportive, personal, and empowering environment in which people grow, evolve, learn and heal. I practice from a psychodynamic and relational orientations, as well as utilize cognitive and behavioral interventions. I have extensive experience working with people from all walks of life, adults, adolescents, and children., addressing a variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, identity issues, self-esteem, substance abuse, and life transition (i.e. divorce, immigration or illness), family planning, family relationships, and parenting.
Years of experience have taught me that happier, healthier and successful families, and relationships stem from more aware, confident, and well balanced individuals. I strongly believe that given the right tools, guidance and encouragement, we all have the ability, and wisdom to help ourselves. I can help you tap into these resources.
Together we can explore ineffective and useless old patterns of behaviors and ideas, and work to change them. Working collaboratively with me, you can learn better skills for problem-solving, assertion, communication, relationships, and intimacy.
