You probably want to find a therapist who is right for you. It's an important choice; although it can be a challenging decision to make. That's why I'd like to help you in that choice by being as open as I can. If you're you are stuck in some aspect of life, or you're tired of the way things are in your life, I can help. I'm a therapist who helps a broad range of people with areas of life they are stuck in-whether it's a relationship, job, depression, anxiety, trauma, etc., I'd like to help.
I am caring, understanding and easy to talk to, and I provide a safe, confidential place for you. I understand it can be scary or anxiety-producing to see a therapist, so I take that into consideration and help you feel as comfortable as possible. Clients say they appreciate my gentle, humble nature mixed with my strength and ability to identify underlying issues, and effectively bring that to light while challenging them when needed--because that is what leads to more in depth understanding of oneself and the beginning of change. In relationships, that is also what leads to working through issues and feeling closer.
So, in essence, I specialize in helping people live more fulfilling lives in their family, relationships and worklife, which can include experiencing increasing confidence, improved communication, the alleviation of symptoms of anxiety and depression, the resolution of fears and negative thinking patterns, recovery from addictions and eating disorders, and a variety of other problems that cause roadblocks in one's life. I also help people with the effects of trauma, and difficult issues from the past.
For those interested in credentials, I am in the latter phase of licensure for Marriage and Family Therapy, and I am earning my Doctorate in Psychology. I am a successful therapist, and I work hard to help you experience more peace and joy in your life. Please contact me for a consultation.
