I specialize in Teen, Young Adults (12 and up) & Family issues. I successfully work with clients struggling with middle school and high school difficulties. I support young adults at the college or university level with the challenges that come with individuating from their family and successfully managing and mastering this life stage. Substance use and abuse issues, gaming addiction & internet addiction, emotional regulation difficulties (depression, anxiety, disregard for rules/authority, self harming behavior), identity, & peer/relationship difficulties are all common issues within this age group that I work with.
I implement Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, which provides clients with the ability to challenge negative thoughts and patterns and change them into productive, empowering thoughts. This produces more desirable outcomes in school, work, and relationships. The new tools clients learn and use increase the ability to establish & achieve their goals.
I offer community-based coaching services for young people who are struggling with academic and social pressures. We commonly assist clients who have social anxiety, substance abuse issues, and life-skill development problems. In addition, offer parent coaching services in the community, office, and over the phone.
