My practice is dedicated to providing affordable and individualistic approaches to solutions for life's many challenges. I take great pride and joy in working with my clients to learn ways to cope with stressors, deal with emotions and hurt, as well as betrayal and depression. I'll listen closely to you, my client, and strengthen your ability to overcome the hurdles of life, handle unexpected blows and feel good about yourself. Together we can pursue a comprehensive, participative and revealing approach that focuses on your own unique circumstances and needs. I'll guide you to find those solutions to what's stopping you from living a rewarding, meaningful and successful life. I have over 14 years of experience in counseling and case management. I have worked with elderly, adults and adolescent youth in the areas of substance abuse, depression, prolonged anxiety, and adjustment issues; women who are working through difficulties in relationships, parenting, depression, constant worries, aftermath of traumatic events and various abuse issues. I have also worked with specialized populations, such as those who have adjustment to medical issues such as HIV/AIDS. As a licensed and board certified professional, I provide experienced, professional counseling; assist and support clients in developing and/or maintaining a responsible and functional lifestyle. I look forward to speaking with a client for the very first time, gaining their trust and getting the opportunity to help that special person make long-lasting changes in their lives that seem to be out of reach at times, but are possible. I make every effort to provide an environment of attention, positive feelings, security and comfort for even those loved ones and close friends that may be apprehensive, have second thoughts or just find it difficult to seek the coaching or therapy that is needed. My clients become empowered in their lives and realize the true potential and strength that comes with getting professional counseling. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST REWARDING EXPERIENCES ONE CAN HAVE.
