I specialize in grief and loss counseling, including bereavement, divorce, pregnancy, and childhood losses. Losses of any kind can leave you feeling groundless and uncertain. Unattended losses are often the seeds for depression, anxiety, and unwanted behaviors. They can leave you feeling disconnected from the people you love. I would like to guide you through the process of grieving and healing, towards a life full of joy and purpose.
I offer "Mothering Ourselves," an ongoing psychotherapy group for mothers whose own mothers are not physically or emotionally present for them. When taking care of children reminds you of the mother you used to have, or the mother you never had, "Mothering Ourselves" can empower the mother that you are.
I also offer pre-commitment counseling for couples preparing to celebrate the commitment of a life-time. Inoculate your relationship and practice the kind of communication it takes to build the genuine, loving, relationship of your choosing.
