Dr. Sarah Villarreal is a licensed psychologist with over ten years of experience working with children and adolescents. Her approach includes cognitive behavioral techniques focusing on emotional coping skills, behavioral control, social skills, and an understanding of behaviors and patterns.
With adolescents, Dr. Villarreal helps to identify life goals and develop goal-oriented behaviors. She specializes in helping individuals with Depression, Anxiety, PDD Spectrum Disorders (including Asperger’s Disorder), and attentional problems (ADD/ADHD).
Dr. Sarah Villarreal also works with adults. She provides individual therapy through a collaborative process using cognitive behavioral and interpersonal therapies. Dr. Villarreal places much importance and value in identifying interpersonal patterns, so that you are able to understand them and move forward to make the changes that you want in your life. She also uses life-coaching techniques to help identify life goals and guide you toward achieving them.
