It's never too late to change areas of your life and aspects of your person that aren't working for you, or aren't giving you the satisfaction you desire.
My hope is to help you attain the self-empowerment and fullness of life you deserve. This may require the healing of old wounds in order to move on. It may require identifying and then changing beliefs and behaviors that are no longer serving you. Ultimately our therapeutic goal is to create a better life for you.
Together we will discuss your therapeutic goals and intentions, and work at your pace and comfort level. I work in a very direct, collaborative, and practical manner, using different techniques and modalities, depending on you and your needs.
My areas of specialization are Trauma/PTSD (adult and childhood), Anxiety Disorders, Couples and Family Counseling, and Substance Abuse. I work in a variety of ways, but often find that working SOMATICALLY and with EMDR enable the work to be more effective. With Substance Abuse, I work both within the Abstinence model, and Moderation Management.
