Roselle is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in psychiatric-mental health nursing. She has been a practicing, professional nurse in the mental health field since 1975 and has extensive experience working with a variety of patients in a number of inpatient and outpatient settings across the country.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist who earned her Master’s Degree in adult psychiatric-mental health nursing at UCLA in 1986, Roselle is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is trained in psychotherapy to provide individual, couples, marital, family and group therapy. Roselle has a strong medical and pharmacological background and has had prescriptive privileges in Oregon and Washington, DC.
In addition to maintaining a private practice, Roselle held clinical and administrative positions on locked, psychiatric units in state, federal, and private psychiatric facilities. She served as a consultant for the State of Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Retardation. In California and Utah, she served as Director of Nursing services in large, private psychiatric hospitals. As Director of a medication management clinic and a crisis program in Washington, DC, Roselle was responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing psychotropic medication for the severely and persistent mentally ill.
Roselle has held academic and clinical positions on the faculties of the Oregon Health Sciences University, Middle Tennessee State University, Vanderbilt University, Tennessee Technological University, and Shenandoah University.
