I am a psychologist with many years of experience and an exposure to a broad range of therapeutic approaches. I am an active participant in the therapy process and relate easily and informally to clients of many diverse backgrounds. I draw upon my extensive experience base to ask the kind of questions which help clients to quickly identify the basic issues which underlie their emotional problems. I focus on my clients strengths rather then their weaknesses. As a result, my clients find me very affirming and supportive as they work through the emotional issues which prevent them from leading a happier and more fulfilling life. I keep abreast of new developments in the field of psychotherapy and incorporate the best of what I find into my practice. I am trained in both EMDR and DMNS, two exciting new therapies, which are proving to be very effective in treating a variety of emotional problems. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients lead happier and more fulfilling lives. To this end, I tailor the techniques and methods I use to meet each client's unique needs.
