Randy J. Heller, M.Ed., LMHC, LMFT, CHT, is the founder and director of the Family Network, Inc., Counseling Center in Plantation, Florida. Randy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. At the Family Network, Randy utilizes an integrated, systemic approach to counseling; collaborating with clients about making life work.
Over the years Randy has earned an excellent reputation as an effective, resourceful, innovative psychotherapist; utilizing a multidimensional approach to assist clients in moving forward toward where they want to be. Randy is passionate about her work and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the people who cross her path.
Randy has a special interest in working clinically and conducting research with families in divorce. She has received specialized training in Collaborative Family Law. In the Collaborative process, she works together with members of a couple, family law attorneys and when needed a neutral accountant or financial planner as part of a team facilitating the peaceful resolution of issues related to marital dissolution while maintaining the integrity of family relationships, particularly with and about the children.
Randy serves as a consultant for other mental health professionals engaged in Collaborative Process, and is the committee chair for developing the protocols of practice for the Mental Health Professional in Collaborative Process for the State of Florida. She has been named a member of the Collaborative Council of Florida and is a member of the research committee for the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Her dissertation will be a Qualitative research study to explore “The Role of the Therapist” in the Collaborative Process.
