I counsel individuals, families, and couples. I have been in practice for over 20 years. I work with the whole person helping to find solutions by adjusting negative thinking and behavior while replacing them with more positive thoughts and actions. I use homework, therapeutic exercises, journaling, communication skills and deep empathic listening to help my clients relax and feel safe so that change can occur. I have a Master of Arts in Psychology; Licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist; Certified as a Nutritionist and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist with 4,000 hours of internship through IAEDP, the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. I am a Certified Gestalt Therapist and have 2 years of study in Trauma and Somatic Experiencing. I specialize in life passages, eating disorders, grief and loss, women's issues and the addictive process and it's recovery.
