I use cognitive therapy in an educational format. In other words, I teach you skills to become your own best emotional coach. I have years of experience working with women going through fertility treatments and coping with post-partum depression. I have helped many people learn to manage their anxiety and live fuller lives.
I help individuals learn to understand and gain insight into themselves. With self-awareness and the skills developed in therapy you will be able to implement healthier behaviors and realize more positive ways of living. Are you experiencing postpartum depression? | Insurance and Billing Instructions: |
Insurance coverage for mental health treatment varies from policy to policy. If you plan to use your insurance, the best route is to call the number on the back of your card and determine directly what your mental health benefits are. I am an “out-of-network provider” which means you should be reimbursed by your insurance company at the rate your policy cites. Due to my licensure, insurance companies recognize my credentials and ability to make diagnoses and treat mental illness. Often the actual cost difference is small when using an out-of-network provider as opposed to an in-network provider once the deductibles, co-pays and limits on allowable sessions are factored in. |
