I have been a therapist for over 20 years. I began my practice in a juvenile delinquency prevention agency, working with kids and families to strengthen parenting and prevent further delinquency behaviors in children. I am a social work educator at a local university and also conduct this small private counseling, consulting practice. I work collaboratively with clients and specialize in IFS - Internal Family Systems therapy, founded by Dr. Richard C. Schwartz. I was trained by Dr. Schwartz and find that this method works well for most people. This is a model that allows clients to live their lives more effectively through self leadership and to resolve burdens and negative beliefs from past experiences. I am an effective listener and hold a longer than usual session so that clients have time to update, process and work without running out of time! If you are struggling with problems of living, I would be honored to meet with you and provide assistance.

My office is located north of St. Luke's South just off of Metcalf and W. 121st Street. Turn east from Metcalf onto W. 121st Street into Corporate Lakes office park. Go about a half mile and on the right will be Farmer's Insurance Building. I am located in that building. After 5 and on weekends, please ring the doorbell.
