| Practice Description: |
Hello and Welcome,
If you're here you may have an eating disorder or love someone who has an eating disorder.
I offer private psychotherapy in Los Angeles for adults seeking recovery from eating disorders. I also offer support, coaching and depth work to adults moving beyond recovery to a satisfying and successful life. People who love someone with an eating disorder also come to my practice to learn how to cope and perhaps change their approach in that relationship.
I'm informed by my training, by my patients and from my own long journey through bulimia to recovery. I may not know the specifics of your experience, but I know the frustration and despair that accompanies any eating disorder. The road to recovery is not easy, but it can be done. And it's far more rewarding than continuing with the eating disorder.
If you think you might be ready to move toward your own recovery, please call me. I don't charge for an intial telephone consultation. Maybe I can help you or maybe I can point you in a helpful direction.
The recovery journey is well worth the better life you can find for yourself.

My practice has an eating disorder recovery focus. If you are in an early phases of recovery and are still acting out bulimia or compulsive overeating we look at ways to stop the behavior and cope with the feelings that emerge.
You may have months even years of eating freedom from eating disorder behaviors but still suffer from anxiety, difficulty in relationships, isolation and low self esteem. If that's the case, then we work on psychological development to develop your strengths and nourish your creativity so you are free to live out your potential.
You may not have an eating disorder but love someone who does. You want help in understanding your loved one and in learning what to give and not give in order to support the person and not the illness. We can explore your relationship and discover small or large changes that can help you both.
You may have had an eating disorder in the past and now are the parent of a daughter. You don't want your child to develop an eating disorder. We can look at your parenting situation and discover how you can be the most loving and health providing parent you can be.
With dedication and commitment we can work together to make progress on these heartfelt goals.
