I am committed to helping individuals and couples recapture hope and meaning in their lives and relationships. I provide a safe setting where individuals and couples can experience life more deeply and learn new tools to restructure frustrations and revision their lives. I also help individuals and couples look at themselves in a new ways, explore their behaviors, desires, and feelings and, if possible, begin to heal their past and revitalize their future.
Over the past 30 years I have worked with people from a wide variety of ethnic and religious backgrounds. I have helped people struggle with communication problems, affairs, loss of sexual desire, trauma, verbal abuse, addictions, adjustment to parenthood/empty nest, and other issues that constrain connection, intimacy, and personal growth. I draw on many years of education, training, and practice as well as my own "therapy" when I engage peoples concerns and needs. My therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, and empathic.
