| Practice Description: |
Are you tired of repeating old patterns that are holding you back in your life? Have you been feeling angry, empty, lonely, stressed out and unhappy? Are you struggling through a transition or a loss or with the legacy of emotional, physical or sexual abuse? There are times in everyone's life when reaching out for and receiving help can make a real difference in resolving problems, easing pain and living a more satisfying life. In psychotherapy a safe place will be created in which to deal with and resolve the unhappiness you are experiencing.
Whether you are dealing with problematic relationships (parent-child, family conflict, gay, lesbian, heterosexual couples), grief and loss, life transitions (infertility, adoption, divorce, re-marriage and blended families, infidelity), self-esteem issues, trauma and abuse, work concerns, or communication difficulties, help is available and solutions are within your reach.
In my 25+ years as a psychotherapist, it has been my privilege to guide a diversity of clients on the path of fulfillment and happiness. Together we will explore the patterns that harm and the patterns that heal. Growth and change are more than possibilities; they can become realities.

| Additional Comments: |
Since every individual and every problem is unique, every psychotherapy experience is unique. Studies have shown that it is the quality and strength of the relationship between a therapist and her client that determines a positive result. I work with my clients to explore the impact of their family history, identify patterns, understand their own thought and feelings and develop goals for therapy that are meaningful to them. I believe in being non-judgmental, interactive and collaborative... and asking a lot of questions! I see my role as helping people to understand themselves and identify their own answers. My goal is to help clients improve relationships, mange pain and stress, resolve shame and depression, strengthen self-esteem, and develop compassion towards themselves and others. |
