| Practice Description: |
Solutions to problems often lie within us, without us even realizing it. As human beings, there's a tendency to notice what's wrong or lacking, instead of what's working or the exceptions to a problem. I use a range of creative techniques to help you discover the key to getting the upper hand on the things that challenge you most, and assist you in your journey to becoming more of the person you want to be.
I am a licensed therapist (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience in the field of Mental Health. My background is in working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and their families, but I have been exposed to and have treated a variety of mental and emotional problems over the years. I do respect other professionals in this field and refer out whenever I believe I am unable to be of benefit to someone. I provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families and couples with a solution-focused and supportive approach. The initial visit is essentially an intake, to gather some understanding of what has lead you to come for therapy and what your expectations are. It is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of whether you feel you will be able to get what you need, whether it's “the right fit”.
My office is located at 200 E. Del Mar, Suite 202, Pasadena, Ca 91105. The cross street is Marengo. This professional office complex is wheelchair accessible and has an elevator. I have office hours two days a week: Mondays, 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm and Saturdays, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Sessions are by appointment only. For a free phone consultation, please contact me at 626-378-7251.
