| Practice Description: |
Hello, I've been a psychotherapist in private practice for 29 years. That experience, coupled with earlier work in hospitals and clinics, means I have helped thousands of people, from seven to ninety years old, deal with just about every problem you can imagine. My orientation is cognitive-behavioral, but my practice is truly holistic, in that I not only consider your thoughts and feelings, but also your habits and lifestyle.
In addition to my counseling degree, I have a doctorate in homeopathic medicine, and have studied nutrition, yoga, clinical hypnosis, Bach Flower Remedies, philosophy, and herbs. As a writer and poet I feel especially able to help people tackle creative blocks.
Remember, you have all the strengths and abilities you need. Let me help you catalyze them in a dynamic, supportive environment.
(A note about my website: holisticdivorcecounseling.com started out as a way to provide free help to people going through the cosmic hazing of divorce. It has since morphed into site offering 100% free support and resources for anyone facing any life transition or challenge. Please take a look at it.)
