Looking at life takes courage. I believe that coming to therapy should be a warm, supportive experience. We can work together to come to new understandings about your feelings, relationships, and behavior patterns. I use an eclectic approach to treatment and see myself as your nonjudgmental, compassionate, professional guide to achieving your therapy goals. Each client is unique and we will structure treatment to honor your specific needs.
During my twelve years of experience in the mental health field, my work has focused on depression, trauma, anxiety, loss, self-harm and relational issues. My graduate training in both clinical psychology and social work provides me with a multifaceted perspective on treatment.
I work on a simple fee-for-service basis and have reasonable sliding scale rates. I offer low rates for students and people in the arts. I am located on the Upper West Side near the 1, 9, 2 , 3, B & C trains. Appointment times are flexible and weekends are available.
