| Practice Description: |
Wanting to make a change and move forward, but feeling stuck? It is often difficult to get a good grasp of your experience when you have a lot on your mind. Sometimes it gets in your way of wish to change. It can be challenging to be kind and gentle to yourself as well as to your feelings at a time. These experiences often make one feels stuck. I believe, increasing awareness and understanding of experience(s) will help you to gain alternative perspectives that would help you to no longer feel stuck and/or afraid.
I provide psychotherapy for individuals and couples experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Issue, Communication Issue, Multicultural Issue, Low Self-esteem, Low Motivation, Anger, and Life Transition etc. In our sessions, we will explore the meaning of your present and past experiences (e.g., why you feel the way you do.) I believe, you can further understand your experiences through an open dialog. The therapeutic relationship will help us to explore your intellectual/emotional/pre-conscious understanding of your experience. Through this we will explore what is good for you. To make successful and necessary changes, we both need to have openness and honesty. I will make observations, interpretations, and recommendations that assist you to gain a sense of congruence.
To make an appointment, please call me at (206) 354-9419. I have daytime and evening office hour. For additional information, visit my website, palmettopsychth.com.
