“As a personal growth therapist, I will work with you to find inner bliss by building your confidence, self esteem, and sense of self-worth. I'm here to help you get 'comfortable in your skin' - we will work together to help you discover what you want and how to get there. I can also assist you in negotiating life changes, identifying healthy choices, and developing acceptance. We can meet in person and/or possibly by SKYPE (web-based video communications).
If you need help with anxiety, an eating disorder, an addiction, or an impulse-control issue, I can work with you using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), in a group and/or individually. From this therapy, you will learn mindfulness techniques, ways to regulate emotions and tolerate distress, as well as new, effective communication skills.
I may not be able to change your circumstances, but I can help you to find ways to accept what life offers and to make choices which will help you lead a more balanced, contented, and satisfying life. I believe there is no right way -- just the way that works best for you.”

Group members learn specific Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills to substitute for harmful impulsive behaviors such as suicidal thinking, self harm, substance abuse and addiction, eating disorders, anger management, and other impulse control issues. Modules include mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal skills and emotional regulation.
