| Practice Description: |
Are you leading the life you want? Does it have a feeling of purpose, a sense of meaning? Or do you struggle with dissatisfaction, anxiety, depression, stress, etc.? If yours is not the life you want, therapy can be a powerful means by which to let go of suffering, to find fulfillment and joy in your life. In my work, I help people develop the skills they need to free themselves from the struggle with pain, to pursue their goals, to strengthen relationships, and to live fully. My clients range from people who are having acutely painful problems to people who simply feel stuck or unhappy.
My clients have described me as warm, easy to talk to, and good at getting to the heart of the matter. I'm an active therapist. I talk, I ask challenging questions, I offer new perspectives. I use several therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology, and a variety of insight-oriented therapies.
Finding the therapist who is right for you can be confusing. I encourage you to shop around. Please contact me with any questions you may have. I offer a free 30-minute phone consultation so that you can get a sense of whether I'm a good match for you.
