I believe that crisis equals opportunity. A crisis that brings someone to therapy can be a pathway to growth and opportunity. With the proper environment of safety and compassion, an individual can heal almost any wounding whether it happened in childhood or adult life. I have been offering this environment to clients for over 25 yrs, love my work and plan on doing it for more years to come.
I feel that I am most effective with couples, individuals and groups. I am eclectic...drawing on a variety of theoretical approaches using whatever may be appropriate with a certain individual or situation at the time. For many years I have offered a warm, compassionate environment for people to grow.
I have had a variety of life experiences in my lifetime and believe I have used those experiences to grow and enrich my life. I believe having been through those experiences, my ability for empathy and understanding of many situations has increased.
