If you are feeling frustrated in an important relationship or stuck in your career, you have come to the right place. I help bright, creative people, who are experiencing self-doubt learn to thrive in relationships, to appreciate their own uniqueness and to shine. I am a caring and compassionate therapist who believes that being understood and accepted is the first step towards getting what you want in life. My clients are smart, creative, often sensitive individuals who yearn for understanding rather than judgement and blame. Sensitivity is a gift and feelings need to be understood and validated for healing to take place.
I provide a safe, secure base from which you can look within, feel and heal from loss, trauma or a painful childhood. These are wounds that can be contributing to problems today. I specialize in individual therapy, but also see couples and families in my practice. Couples and families, too, may need help to get out of destructive patterns and learn to reach and truly understand each other.
I would be honored to join you on your healing journey. As a former actor and published poet, I understand the creative process and the mixed blessing of the creative gift. I've lectured and written on codependency, healing from betrayal, and the emotional needs of gifted adults.

Most insurance plans provide for out of network services. Reimbursement often ranges from 50% to 80%. As a California licensed therapist, I provide clients with a valid receipt that may be used to seek reimbursement from your plan. |
