I have a goal-oriented, person-centered approach, and I care about fostering my clients' strengths. My perspective has been shaped by extensive post-graduate Institute training and also life experience. I believe therapy should unfold collaboratively and in a respectful, thoughtful manner.
I have experience working with diverse people from many different cultures, coping with a wide range of severe stresses: addiction, medical as well as psychiatric illnesses, trauma, abuse, and loss. I am also experienced with issues like poor self-esteem, work stress, anxiety and relationship concerns.
People have told me they find my calm and attentive manner very helpful, and sometimes people who have had a hard time trusting therapists have been able to relax with me and build constructive relationships. I am an active, non-judgmental listener.
