| Practice Description: |
Are you experiencing depression or anxiety? You may have been feeling this way for a long time or recent events may be the cause..... Psychotherapy can help.
,,,,,,Or are you concerned about a child who has been diagnosed with ADHD or learning disabilities, who is struggling in school and home, who is having trouble making and keeping friends. Play therapy is very effective in helping these children succeed in school, getting along with other family members and in developing healthy friendships.
Intensive play therapy is essential for children with more serious conditions such as pervasive developmental delay (e.g. autism) or bipolar disorder.
I offer psychotherapy for circumscribed/focused/situational issues as well as for major mental health conditions for adults and children. I conduct an initial in depth clinical assessment. I will then review the assessment with you so that we can consider the pros and cons of various treatment options for the condition.
Psychotherapy can help with problems that seem insurmountable. A medical doctor's role is to keep you physically healthy. Mental health professionals can keep you psychologically healthy.
