| Practice Description: |
Anxiety can be caused by the ordinary complexity of every day life You may be feeling frustrated, angry, confused or just saddened by living in your life. Many people find that therapy can improve their close relationships, raise self-esteem, resolve a troublesome symptom, or find out what is interfering with creative aspirations and success.
Psychotherapy is about two people coming together to talk with each other ... one who is troubled and one who is trained to help explore your concerns. With undivided attention and a little time, your anxieties may begin to lessen.
I enjoy working with any one who possesses the curiosity and patience to learn how talking with another person can make a difference ... how life can be changed, how you can feel different about yourself.
I also work with people who pull their hair. This stubborn symptom often responds well to psychodynamic therapy and psychoanalysis where the reasons for this anxiety disorder can be discovered and thought about.
In addition, I work with people who are anxious about their weight. A comfortable number is hard to maintain today and frequently results in anxiety, but this concern may have a specific meaning to you that we can understand together.

"FINISH WHAT YOU'VE STARTED"
A familiar phrase? For some students, that goal seems just too hard . You get bogged down by procrastination or a difficult writing assignment or a lack of self esteem. You need a helping hand from someone who can help sort out confusing emotions, improve discipline, and guide you toward graduation day.
You may be a soldier who wants to continue your education, a woman who'd love to go back to college but is afraid, or a graduate student who feels stuck somewhere in your process. If you are stumbling over this ambition, we can work together to make that goal real.
Graduation makes the difference between being a student and the graduate who finished. It is a source of great personal joy. |
